It is important to set both short-term and long-term goals. These will help you to track your progress and make sure that your mind is always focused on the direction you are heading in. It will also pave the way for your next steps in life.

1) Identify The Thing You Want To Stop Doing!

We are constantly bombarded with stimuli. It can be hard to find space for ourselves in the world.

It’s not always easy to identify what we want to stop doing, but it’s worth taking the time to figure it out.

Some people might want to cut back on their drinking or force themselves to go on more walks. Others might want to stop checking their email every five minutes or take more days off from work each month.

This can be difficult, but if you break down what you really love the most, then the decision is easier.

For some people that’s spending time with family and friends; for others, it’s exercising; and for some, traveling is what they love most.

Consider what your old habit is. Where does it come from? How does it make you feel? What are the consequences of this habit?

It’s important to know why you want to change this habit so that you can focus on the benefits of replacing it instead of the negatives.

Next, brainstorm different strategies for developing a healthier habit. You can use techniques like “Trying Something New” or “Commitment & Reward” and see which one works best for you.

Finally, finally start implementing these positive behaviors into your daily routine!

2) Generate New habits To Replace Old Ones!

Some people are able to form new habits. That is, they are able to replace an old habit with a new one. Other people find it very difficult to do this. It’s not easy to replace bad habits with good ones, but success can be elusive without the right approach.

The key is that you have to create an effective environment for your new habit before you can form that habit in your daily life. This environment consists of three things: your thoughts, your behaviors and the world around you. When all three are aligned in support of your new habits, they will become automatic over time.

3) Track Your Progress With New Behaviors

You have a goal. Maybe you want to quit drinking, or stop buying meaningless items on Amazon, or start going to the gym.

As you work toward your goal, there will be times when it feels like this change is never going to happen. And if you’re not careful, these feelings will lead to giving up and reverting back to your old habits.

It is very important to track our progress with new behaviors because it helps us observe how easy or difficult the task is and identify the time frame for a project or a goal. Tracking helps us see what needs to be done to reach our goals and it encourages us to continue on the right path.

In order to track your progress, you can use everything from a spread sheet, an app on your phone, or even just use pen and paper.
