So what can we do? Sometimes it may seem time is always slipping away and it’s impossible to grasp a handle on your life.

It is possible to become better at managing your time so that we can get more done in less time!

How to Control Procrastination and Be More Productive

Procrastination is a bad habit that can affect each and every one of us at some point in our lives. Luckily, there are ways to get rid of this habit and to become more productive and efficient.

The first step is to identify the source of your procrastination. Is it tasks that you don’t enjoy working on? Or maybe you’re just not interested in the topic at all? Are you planning with a template for a weekly schedule or daily schedule?

How to Streamline and Prioritize Tasks

Although it may seem counter-intuitive, prioritizing tasks doesn’t have to be hard. There are a number of ways to prioritize tasks so that they are accomplished efficiently.

One way to prioritize tasks is by breaking them down into smaller portions. For example, if a project requires five different tasks to be completed, then one task can be prioritized as a 1-3 hour task, another as a 4-6 hour task, and so on.

By dividing up the project into small portions and prioritizing the time it should take to accomplish each task, you can better manage the project.

The main goal of prioritizing is to make sure that you are not spending time on tasks that will not move your goals forward. It is important to prioritize your tasks on the basis of their importance, urgency, and how long it will take you to finish them.

Schedule Your Days and Weeks

You can plan your daily activities and then schedule your days and weeks accordingly. It’s helpful to use a template for a weekly schedule. That will save you time because you don’t have to recreate a template each time.

The first thing that you need to do is create a list of tasks that you need to finish during the course of the day.

These tasks should be categorized into three sections: “To-Do Today”, “To-Do Tomorrow”, and “To-Do Later”.

The next step is to assign a time for each task from the list based on urgency level with the most urgent tasks being scheduled first.

Lastly, block out an appropriate time slot for each task in your template for a weekly schedule with a reminder alarm set for a few minutes before the start of each time slot.
